Edwin Neill III
Neill Corporation
Edwin Neill was named Neill Corporation’s President in 2004. He is responsible for the overall strategy and operations of Neill Corporation, including the primary businesses of Aveda Distribution, Extended Technologies, Etopa and Paris Parker Salons and Spas.
Edwin started with Neill Corporation in 1976, working in the distribution center, then located at a small storefront in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A job in Metairie, Louisiana, selling Aveda and Paul Mitchell products followed, before Edwin began college. He returned to the family business in 1997 as Executive Vice President. In 2001, he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to rejoining Neill Corporation, Edwin practiced commercial litigation at the New Orleans law firm of Stone Pigman. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Tulane Family Business Center and is a treasurer and a member of the board of directors of the International Spa Association Foundation. He is also a director and officer of the Salon and Spa Relief Fund, a charitable organization dedicated to helping salons and spas recover from disasters.
Edwin received both a bachelor’s degree and a law degree from Louisiana State University, where he was a senior editor of the law review. He received an M.B.A. from Tulane University.
